The Remove Pages tool deletes unwanted pages from a PDF while leaving the rest of the document intact. Common uses include removing blank pages produced by a scanner's document feeder, deleting duplicate pages from a double-fed sheet, taking an outdated cover memo off the front of a packet, or clearing misplaced pages out of a combined scan.
Mark the pages you want removed and the tool rebuilds the document without them. Every remaining page keeps its original order, formatting, fonts, and images. The result is a single cleaned PDF named after your original file, and the source document is never altered.
Marked pages are highlighted in red with an ✕ badge, and a live counter shows how many pages are set for deletion, so it is always clear exactly what will be removed. If you already know the page numbers, you can enter them in the page box, for example 3, 7-9, instead of selecting thumbnails. Because a PDF requires at least one page, the tool also prevents you from removing the entire document by mistake.
All processing happens in your browser on your own device. The scans, statements, and contracts you clean up are never transmitted to a server, in keeping with PDFGadget's privacy-first design.

Does removing pages change my original file?
No. The tool builds a new copy of the document without the marked pages and gives you that as a download. The file you selected stays on your device exactly as it was, so you can always go back to it.
How do I know which pages will be deleted?
Every page you mark turns red with an X badge, and a counter shows how many pages are marked for removal. Nothing is actually removed until you click the Remove Selected button, so you can freely mark and unmark pages while you decide.
Can I remove several pages at once, even scattered ones?
Yes. Click any combination of thumbnails, or type the page numbers like 3, 7-9, 15 into the page box and hit Apply. All marked pages are deleted together in one pass.
Can I remove every page of the PDF?
No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool stops you if everything is marked for removal. If you only want a small part of the document, the Extract Pages tool is the faster way to get there.
Should I use Remove Pages or Extract Pages?
Count what you are keeping. If you are keeping most of the document and deleting a few pages, use Remove Pages. If you only need a few pages out of a long document, marking everything else for removal is tedious, and Extract Pages does it in a couple of clicks instead.
Is the PDF I clean up sent to your servers?
No. The document is processed in your browser's memory on your own device and discarded when you close the tab. PDFGadget has no server that receives files, which is exactly why there is no upload progress bar anywhere on the page.
